DAVID GERARD WINERY
On Sunday before Patty and Scott headed home we visited a winery, David Gerard. It was so great to sit around the table with the family enjoying conversation. I thought a few photos were appropriate. So here goes.....

LAST WEEKEND--AUNT VIVIAN'S 90TH
Last weekend Patty and I flew from Palm Springs to Sacramento for a surprise party for Aunt Vivian's 90th birthday. What fun! Most of the family made it. It was extra special that Steve, Dave, Patty and I all got to the same event. That doesn't happen much these days. I am so grateful when it does. It was wonderful to see everyone.
My pictures are from top to bottom:

A PALM SPRINGS VISIT FROM PATTY, MELISSA, ANGELA AND MASON
Two weeks ago Patty and the kids visited us in Palm Springs. It was such fun. We swam, chatted, shared yummy meals and just soaked in the moments.
The biggest event, I believe was when Paul Beauregard, Melissa's biological Dad, came for a visit. Melissa hadn't seen him in about 30 years. It was an important time for her. It must have been special for him also. I am so grateful it finally happened.

DAVE AND OLIVIA VISIT OUTDOOR RESORTS
Olivia and Dave drove all the way down here for a visit. They arrived at 10:30 Friday night and left this afternoon around 2:00. It was a short time here, but we enjoyed seeing them so much. Mostly we talked and shared meals. We had breakfast both mornings on our patio. Lunch yesterday was at La Palapa for shrimp tacos. Last night Dave barbecued steaks down at "Dad's place". Sometimes I even call it "Mom and Dad's place". It will always be called that to me. Anyway I was so very happy that they made the effort to come all this way. It was nice.
