FAMILY REUNION 2009

I wanted to post some family reunion photos for those of you who may be interested. Here are a few.

Our youngest member, Isaac, is in the first photo followed by Ronnie, Scott and Dustin.
Then it's Angela, Alice, and Chloe.
Next we have Kailyn and Angela followed by Lisa and David III.
Steve, Connie, Hannah and Patty are before me braiding Kimberly's hair.
A darling picture of Connie, Melissa, and Candi is next.
Then we have a group shot of the great- grandchildren and then the adults.

LISA AND MATT GET A SAILING LESSON

Today Lisa and Matt had a sailing lesson at Howard Prairie. A friend of Lisa's has a racing sail boat moored up there. He offered to take Lisa and Matt sailing.
Ron and I happened to take a drive up to the Lake just for the beauty of it. While there we watched the kids set up and take off. It was a perfect day for the lake.

MISSING MY GRANDBABIES

Well it seems I miss Nico, Alice and Anthony more each day. Who could blame me? Just look at their sweet faces. We also captured their first spaghetti dinners. Looks like they liked it. That is a happy thing.

LAST TWO MORNINGS WITH NICO

Ron, Amy, Alice and Anthony had to go home on Monday morning. I missed them all immediately.
We were lucky enough to have Nico until Thursday morning. I was blessed to be able to take him on some long early morning walks.
On Wednesday morning we walked for bagels and a visit to the park behind the fire station. Nico ate his bagel on the merry-go-round. He also decided to rake the bocci ball lanes. Too cute!
On Thursday morning we did another trip this time to Hunter Park including a bagel stop. Nico watched the tennis players and checked out all the play equipment. And all of this before 8:00 am each day. How I love to have an early morning buddy.
It is such fun to have some one on one time with the little ones. I must try this soon with Alice and Anthony.

4th of July weekend

What a beautiful weekend we had this year!
Here they are-----little naked swimmers, the kids waiting for the parade and forming their first Rock, romping on the lawn, and the two Rons with Mother.
Ron, Amy, Rick and May made the drive to our house with their precious babies. Everyone spent the whole weekend and more. I am so very grateful for the effort they all make to come and be with us.

ALMOST THROUGH ALL THE SLIDES

This is it for today. Memories, memories, memories.
Who could forget Halloweens, Rick's 7th birthday, horses across the street in Ashland, family get togethers in L.A. and San Luis, Baby David III, Nana and Uncle Bob, the bonding of "kindred spirits" and a hailstorm at the Portland Zoo.
