ANOTHER GIRLS' WEEKEND
Last weekend was another girls' weekend for me. I picked up my cousin, Carol and friend, Mary at the Portland airport on Thursday afternoon. Then we drove to Gig Harbor, Washington. The first night my third girlfriend, another Mary, and her husband, Paul, had us stay at their home. Paul made a scrumptious barbequed dinner for us. There was plenty of wine and good conversation to accompany the meal.
On Friday and Saturday nights we stayed at a lovely bed and breakfast right on the harbor, called The Maritime Inn. Fireplaces in the rooms and everything else one could wish for. Aside from dining out and shopping (note the adorable sandals that Mary found) we spent the evenings catching up on each other's lives and playing The Girlfriend Game. The game was on sale at a gift shop in Ashland. It consists of simple, but deep questions that provoke great discussions. Once again we had the time of our lives. All that corny stuff that you hear about girlfriends is absolutely true. There is nothing like the treasures they are to me.

What fun! That is so great! You guys are all so blessed to have one another. There is nothing like girl talk...that is for sure!
