AMY'S BELLY CASTING PARTY

Well I flew into Portland last Wednesday. On Saturday morning Amy had a "belly casting party". Connie and Candi had mailed her the whole kit for a shower gift. So Amy's sister, Diane, her sister-in-law, Cristina, May and I attended the get together. I mostly took pictures. The other Diane and Cristina did all the work. What a fantastic idea and Amy was such a trouper! She lathered up with the body cream and sat while she got plastered. Just sitting still for any length of time took much effort. But look how beautiful she is. Her cast shocked her. She kept asking if she really looked that big. We all had to tell her, "Perhaps even bigger." Ronnie came home and confirmed our answer.

Nico and Henry, Amy's nephew, also attended. Nico couldn't take his eyes off of Cristina.

Amy told me you would be posting pictures! How great that she made a little party of it! Candi and I sent that to her for her shower gift. So glad she got to do it before the babies come...and right at the end, too! Nico is such a doll baby...growing soo fast! I am sure you are in heaven there right now....and just wait! Can't wait to hear the news and see the first pictures of Alice and Anthony! Love you and miss you all!

Wow! What an idea. Where do you store such a sculpture? Looks like fun?

Any reason for fun, I always say. Every day I check family blogs waiting for news--just don't hold off until Feb. 29, a tough day to have your birthday I think. You should hang the sculpture from the nursery ceiling, of course.
Love, M.A.

How cool is that?!?! I hope she paints it and does something artsy with it...maybe she can call her brother in law for help. I hear he is talented...ha ha ha. She is glowing! I, too, am eager for the arrival of the two miracle babies!
