LES BAUX

Les Baux was a castle town in Provence. We stayed in a B & B right in the side of the rock ruins. It was modernized inside and just amazing in so many ways. It was called Le Prince Noir.

While there we went to Cathedral Images where Van Gogh's artwork was projected on the walls of a huge multi-caved hillside. You can get an idea of the enormous size by checking out how small the people are in comparison. All the while you walk through the caves classical music was playing. No words can express how awesome this place was. Even pictures won't do this place justice.

We even took a walk in the countryside of St. Remy, where Van Gogh painted 100 of his famous paintings. He had been institutionalized there for several months. We actually stood on the spots where he did many of these works of art. Notice the violet irises. It all just blew me away.
